National Parks have been around since 1872 preserving wildlife and keeping land pure. In our national parks you get to experience
nature in its element. National parks provide recreation for visitors as well as a safe habitat for animals to live in.
You can hike, fish, swim, canoe, and watch nature in a safe family-style experience. However, our national parks are limited
to the area that they cover. In the immense natural land that our country contains the park systems only preserve a very
small quantity. National parks preserve nature so that manmade industry will not disturb it. They also create secure habitats
for animals to flourish in and offers an escape for all the people that just want to get away or to experience nature at its
finest. Our national parks should be expanded to keep nature preserved.
The next few pages contain information about our countries National Parks/National Park system. Take a look around and feel
free to ask any questions that you may have. There are some interesting facts about National Parks so maybe you will learn
something new. Enjoy!
